Emma is sleeping in her crib, kind of.

Emma has been napping in her crib. This is a big thing!! She had been napping and sleeping at night in her swing. This weekend will see how she sleeps at night in her crib. We have to wrap her up in a "burritto" so that her arms don't wake her up which they would. We will keep you posted on the night time sleeping but her naps have been as long as 2 hours in her crib!

Beautiful Emma

Things with Mr. Mom are going pretty well. Jr is trying to get Emma to sleep in her pack-n-play so that Emma can begin sleeping in her crib. Should be an interesting process. Tomorrow Emma gets to spend the day with her Grandma Jo with both Tasha and Jr working. This coming weekend Emma has to spend all day Saturday and overnight with just Jr as Tasha will be gone...YIKES! Posted by Picasa

He survived!

Jr's first day as "Mr. Mom" is complete and in the books. Generally it was successful although Emma didn't seem to want to take a nap. Jr will be working on Tuesday's for the next 6 weeks so today is a break for him and then it is back to "Mr. Mom" tomorrow.

Mr. Mom

This coming Monday Tasha heads back to work and Jr will be staying home with Emma and playing "Mr. Mom". Should be both fun and interesting. Jr will be home for 6 weeks, although he will be working one day a week.

Great visit with Boompa and Grandma

It was very nice to see Boompa and Grandma. Emma was a hit with both and Grandma couldn't keep her hands off Emma. Posted by Picasa

Hail to Chris Sweet Sr!!!!

We visited dad's grave site and left some greenage and pine cones from the cabin. In his honor we drank some Starbucks. He is sorely missed but he couldn't be in a better place now. Posted by Picasa

Attempting a family photo

This is an attempt to take a family picture up at the cabin. It was nice to show Emma the family cabin and a place that she will spend a lot of time at. It is a very special place. Posted by Picasa

Grandma's instructed picture

Day at Yosemite

We had the pleasure of spending the day at Yosemite. The scenary in the valley was beautiful as it usually is. Emma had her first picnic. This was the first of what will be a yearly visit to Yosemite, something that Jr and Jessie got to do every year growing up. Posted by Picasa

Home Safe

We are home safe. We left Claudia's house yesterday and drove to Redding and stayed the night there and drove the rest of the way today. It was a great trip.
