My new job

A couple of folks have asked what my new job is. I will be taking over as the Director of Admissions at Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) on Oct. 16th. Currently I serve as Assitant Director at Portland State University.

As the director, I will lead the admissions team towards meeting the enrollment goals that have been set. PNCA has a very ambitious goal for enrollment growth. They hope to grow by about 40% in the next 3 years. I will have 3 admissions counselors that will work for me. Although the work to grow will be shared by the entire institution, the four of us (me and the counselors) will lead that charge with me taking the absolute lead. It is a lot of pressure but will be a great step in my professional growth.

Back from Montana

I am back from Montana. Spent two weeks there talking with prospective students throughout the state. I hope to continue to travel in Montana when I start in my new job because I really love this trip. Get to see some gorgeous parts of this country, eat great food, and meet some very nice folks.

Sorry for the delay in updating this but I have been in Montana. Emma is doing great, she is able to get on all fours now as if she is going to crawl. Should be soon......

It is that season once more, Jr will be in Montana the next two weeks.

General Emma Update

Emma is doing great, Tasha and I couldn't be happier. She is eating solids very well. She is sitting up and rolling over. She is even starting to sleep through the night and not waking for a feeding which is great for us! Of course we are biased but we think no other baby comes close on the cute-meter. With each check-up we are told she is way ahead of the curve and very healthy. She hasn't even fussed with her two teeth coming in. We will cross our fingers and hope it stays that way! Wait till she crawls!

We are just in heaven!!

Emma loves water

Emma loves taking baths. The funny thing is, her favorite thing to do is drink the water from the shower head during the shower.
