Emma's new stats
Emma went in for her 6 month check up. The doctor was very impressed about her overall progress and development. He liked her energy, strength, and said that there was something about her that draws people to her. Her overall health is very good. As per usual, her stats were off the charts!! When the nurse went to plot her stats on the percentile charts they were in the "red" section and not even on the highest curve. She weighed in at 21lbs and 6 ounces and measured in at 28.5 inches. Her head size was also off the charts, just like her mom and dad. She got some more shots including a flu vaccine so she is all up-to-date.

General update
Here is a general update on all of the Northern Sweets:
Emma is doing great. She has a really good sleep schedule down and the time change doesn't seem to have impacted her in any way. She goes in for her 6 month check up tomorrow so we will have new stats for everyone. She continues to grow and develop. She can roll all over the place and then get into a sitting position all by herself. She is SOOOO close to crawling. I guess we shouldn't be in such a hurry because once she starts crawling we have to really watch her. She is getting some teeth on the top to go with the two she has on the bottom. Her hair is still out of control, especially in the mornings. She is trying lots of new foods and seems to like everything so far (a definite Sweet trait).
Tasha is doing good. She is plugging away at US Bank and gets to spend one day during the week with Emma (in addition to the weekends). That seems to be working out very well. She is knitting again. She has also discovered the wonderful taste of red wine.
Jessie is doing very well. She is VERY busy at work. She has a new cat, Mr. McClure. He is doing well with her other cat, Tiramisu, however he won't let her eat so she is losing weight. But sounds like Jessie will straighten that out. She gets to see Emma at least once a week but wishes she could see her more.
I (Jr/Chris) am doing very well. I have started my new job and have been at it for 2 weeks. I lots to learn but it will be a great opportunity. I work with some very cool people and the school is very neat. I will begin to visit some local community colleges to promote the school during this week and that will continue for the next couple of weeks.
I will post more tomorrow after Emma's Dr. appointment.

Started my new job
Yesterday was my first day on the new job at Pacific Northwest College of Art. I feel as though I don't know anything and am a bit overwhelmed. It is very weird how you can go from knowing most things to knowing nothing. But that will change with time. I work with some really fun people and my staff seems great. I will post more info as the days go on.
My new email address is csweet@pnca.edu and my new work phone number is 503-821-8926.

Close to crawling
Emma is very close to crawling. She easily gets to all fours and rocks back and forth. She is able to move her feet in a crawling motion but hasn't coordinated it with her hands/arms. I would expect she will be crawling in the next week or so. Who knows!
I will post some new pictures soon.
