We had a lovely Mother's Day at Great Grandma Forkner's/Baba's house. Uncle Dean prepared some wonderfuls salmon that was followed by a yummy dessert and gifts. Emma got to lick her first beater after whipping up some whip cream.

5/20/07 OK Im getng thu hang uv ths now. We all had a grate time with Jr, Jessie, and Mickey in CA ths weekend. We tuk care of almost evrythng. Our watr stopped in the hous a couple of hours be4 all the guests showd up. That was exciting. A plumber showed up just in time. Then Jr and I had to fix it again in the aftrnune. Claudia came over and lots of old friends showd up. Lots of talk. Everything went went well. We'll miss Mom a lot. She was a real anchor. Jr, Jessie, and Mickie left Luci's at 3:00 in the morning for San Francisco and then home. See you all in August. SAS
