What's New With Emma?
Emma is now sleeping in a big girl bed at home. She is very excited about it. She loves to dance, especially to a song called "Cha Cha Slide", it is quite hilarious. We are nearing her 2 year birthday which is pretty amazing. She is quite the singer and will sing almost the entire "Happy Birthday Song" and knows many words to "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and "Wheels on the Bus". It is very amusing. Her bed time has been pushed back. She used to go to bed between 6:30 and 7:00pm....now she is generally going to bed around 7:30pm.
One thing that isn't as pleasant is that the "terrible 2's" are setting in a little. She is becoming more disobedient. It isn't really bad but definitely worse than it has been. We've had to incorporate a "time out" routine when she doesn't listen.
I need to post some pictures soon.

Chicago Dogs in Portland!!

We just went to a new place in town called "Wayne's Chicago Red Hots". WOW. Like being at home. All I have to say is two things: Vienna Beef Hot Dogs and Old Style....they have both!!! They have Chicago stuff all over and will be showing all Cubs games and selling Old Style for $2 during the games. One of the guys who worked there joked and said that the beer would be double priced for White Sox games. Gotta love it..........
Next time I will have to give their Italian Beef a shot which is another thing I miss.
Now all we need is Chicago pizza in Portland.

Updates
Tasha: She has started a new job at US Bank. Her new title is "Project Manager" and she is very happy about it. It is a great step up for her. She was recently hit but an idiot bike messenger in downtown Portland and got a few scrapes on her face. Nothing major but a little painful. The idiot didn't even stop.....more fuel for my "I hate most bicyclists" fire.
Chris: Not a whole lot new. I start my thesis class in a couple of weeks and should be done with my Master's degree in June. Spring dart league is in full swing and we are much more competitive this season and are actually in the hunt for a playoff spot, although it is early. I got to play hero last night as I hit the winning darts to give our team the victory in a sudden death match of 1001.
Emma: HOLY COW. She is a parrot and says everything and can even sing the entire "Happy Birthday Song"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will say everything so we have to be really careful about what we say because she will repeat it. School is going well for her. She is attending 3 days a week and loves it. She doesn't make it easy for me to leave but she has a blast once I am gone. She loves to go for walks, especially to the park that is near our house. She the funniest person on the planet and has quite the sense of humor. She will make us laugh and then she will fake laugh with us and then say "Emma funny". Her two favorite people continue to be Wayne and Awjee (Aunt Jessie). Tasha and I are still in that mode where we can't wait to see her and sometimes wish we could wake her up in the middle of the night so we can see her.
There you go......
